Bahrain Defence Force Intercepts Over 700 Aerial Threats Amid Iranian Aggression


Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has announced the successful interception and destruction of 194 missiles and 515 drones that have targeted the Kingdom of Bahrain since the onset of Iranian aggression.



According to Emirates News Agency, the Bahrain Defence Force has utilized its air defence systems to counter the threats posed by ballistic missiles and drones. These attacks have been directed at civilian objects and private properties, which the BDF deems a violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter.



The BDF’s statement emphasized that these actions not only violate international laws but also pose a direct threat to regional peace and security. The ongoing aggression has necessitated a robust defensive response to ensure the safety and security of Bahrain’s citizens and infrastructure.
