Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has announced that the Kingdom's air defences have successfully intercepted and destroyed 182 missiles and 400 drones since the beginning of hostile attacks attributed to Iranian forces. These attacks have primarily targeted the Kingdom of Bahrain, posing significant challenges to its security.
According to Emirates News Agency, the BDF General Command highlighted that the deployment of ballistic missiles and drones aimed at civilian regions and private properties is a clear breach of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter. The statement underscored the severe implications of such actions on regional stability.
The statement from the BDF further noted that these indiscriminate assaults are a direct threat to peace and security in the region. The Kingdom remains vigilant and prepared to counter further aggression to safeguard its sovereignty and the safety of its citizens.
