Abu Dhabi:Northern Emirates: A delegation from Bahrain's Ministry of Interior visited the Federal Correctional and Punitive Institutions Department as part of an official working visit. They aimed to review the operational system and best practices in inmate care, rehabilitation, and reintegration into society.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Bahraini delegation was briefed on key services and modern approaches to rehabilitation and reform. They also examined the implementation of alternative, community-based, and green sanctions, focusing on their role in rehabilitating and empowering inmates to become active members of society.
The visit was part of a broader effort to strengthen cooperation, exchange expertise, and share best practices in developing correctional and rehabilitation systems. The delegation's goal was to enhance security and safety while protecting the community.
