BASSIL CABLES CONDOLENCES TO KHAMENEI OVER DEATH OF PRESIDENT RAISI, FM ABDOLLAHIA

Head of the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Gebran Bassil, on Tuesday sent a cable of condolences to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on the death of President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, and their companions in the tragic helicopter crash. In his cable, Bassil offered sincere condolences to the government and people of Iran, and 'asked Almighty God to rest the victims' souls in peace and to grant their families patience and solace, and to grant Iran a safe and prosperous future.'
