BERRI, MIKATI DISCUSS LATEST POLITICAL DEVELOPMENTS

In a meeting at the Parliament's second headquarters in Ain el-Tineh, House Speaker, Nabih Berri, welcomed Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati. During the meeting, Mikati briefed Berri on the results of his recent visit to France and his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss the latest political and field developments in light of Israel's continued aggression against Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. Berri also received the Patriarch of the Syriac Catholic Church, Mar Ignatius Joseph III Yonan, with whom he discussed the general local situation and national affairs. Among Berri's visitors was Member of the Democratic Gathering, MP Wael Abu Faour, with whom he discussed the latest political developments and legislative affairs.
