Caretaker Foreign Minister, Abdullah Bou Habib, on Tuesday met with UNRWA Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini, with whom he discussed the agency's challenges, particularly the financial difficulties affecting its role in supporting Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and the region. Bou Habib emphasized the critical importance of UNRWA's continued services, especially in education and healthcare, which he described as investments in a better future for the refugees. Bou Habibi also warned that without UNRWA, refugees could be pushed towards extremism and violence, rather than pursuing their aspirations for a dignified life. Source: National news agency - Lebanon
