Caretaker Foreign Minister, Abdallah Bou Habib, met Monday with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Representative in Lebanon, Ivo Freijsen, whom he summoned over the delayed handover of data relevant to the displaced Syrians. Following the meeting, Bou Habib said he asked Freijsen that the data be submitted to the General Directorate of the General Security agency by the end of the current month. Bou Habib also asked Freijsen that the letter sent by the UNHCR to the minister of interior be withdrawn and considered as null. Moreover, he stressed the necessity to not interfere in Lebanon's sovereign powers. Bou Habib warned Freijsen that should the aforementioned be not respected, the foreign ministry "will be obliged to reconsider its dealing with the UNHCR." Source: National News Agency - Lebanon
