Veneto:UAE Team Emirates-XRG concluded their 2026 season triumphantly as Brandon McNulty secured a solo victory at the Veneto Classic. Teammate Pavel Sivakov also made a strong showing, finishing third in what was his final race for the Emirati team.
According to Wam, this victory marked McNulty's first triumph while wearing the rainbow jersey, following his win at the world road race championship in Montréal last month. The team ended the season with a total of 78 victories.
McNulty held a lead of approximately 20 seconds with 6 kilometers remaining and managed to increase his advantage, ultimately finishing alone to claim this memorable victory.
The dual podium finish served as a fitting end to a season filled with challenges, including crashes, injuries, and the absence of several key riders. Nonetheless, UAE Team Emirates-XRG consistently competed at the highest level throughout the year.
