Calidus and 3ME Technology Forge Partnership to Develop Hybrid Defence Vehicle Solutions

Abu dhabi: Calidus Holding Group, a prominent player in the defence and manufacturing sector, has signed a teaming agreement with 3ME Technology, an advanced systems integrator from Australia, to enhance hybrid solutions for defence vehicles in the region. The collaboration was formalized by Dr. Khalifa Murad Alblooshi, Managing Director and CEO of Calidus Holding Group, and Justin Bain, CEO of 3ME Technology.

According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership focuses on joint initiatives for the development and integration of hybrid products and solutions, aimed at providing improved operational flexibility and increased energy efficiency. This agreement demonstrates both companies' commitment to innovation, delivering vehicles that are not only more efficient but also lower in emissions, aligning with future requirements in the defence sector.

Dr. Khalifa Alblooshi emphasized that the agreement aligns with Calidus' vision to lead innovation in defence manufacturing. By collaborating with 3ME, Calidus aims to accelerate the integration of electrified power solutions into its vehicle fleet, ensuring that they remain mission-ready. This move supports the strategy to strengthen national defence industries and embrace cutting-edge technologies.

Justin Bain highlighted the proven capabilities of 3ME's technology in challenging environments, from underground mines to demanding defence applications. He expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with Calidus Holding Group, which allows 3ME to deliver its expertise to the UAE on an industrial scale, leveraging Calidus' innovative manufacturing capabilities in the defence industry. Together, the companies aim to deliver solutions that are faster, more capable, and future-ready.
