Abu dhabi: The Central Bank of Egypt's (CBE) Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) kept its key interest rates unchanged at its latest meeting, maintaining a cautious stance as it assesses inflation trends and the economic outlook.
According to Emirates News Agency, the overnight deposit rate was held at 19%, while the overnight lending rate remained at 20%. The rate of the main operation and the discount rate were also kept unchanged at 19.5% each.
