Beijing: China's consumer price index (CPI), a key gauge of inflation, rose 1 percent year-on-year in March, according to official data released today.
According to Emirates News Agency, the National Bureau of Statistics also said the producer price index (PPI), which measures costs of goods at the factory gate, increased by 0.5 percent year-on-year in March.
