Abu dhabi: The value of China's international trade in goods and services reached approximately 5.28 trillion yuan, or about US$758 billion, in December, as shown by official data released on Friday.
According to Emirates News Agency, the data from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange revealed that exports of goods were around 2.66 trillion yuan, while imports surpassed 1.81 trillion yuan, leading to a surplus of 853.3 billion yuan. In the realm of services, exports totalled 354.1 billion yuan and imports were 450.7 billion yuan, resulting in a deficit of 96.6 billion yuan.
In terms of US dollars, China's exports of goods and services amounted to $427.6 billion in December, with imports reaching $320.4 billion, creating a surplus of $107.2 billion, as reported by the administration.
