Dubai: Creators HQ, the first content creator hub in the UAE and the Middle East, in collaboration with 500 Global, the world's most active venture capital firm, has announced the opening of applications for the Creators Ventures Accelerator. This accelerator is part of the second edition of Creators Ventures and will take place during the upcoming fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, from 9th to 11th January 2026, across three main locations in Dubai.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Creators Ventures Accelerator invites content creators and startups to apply for the program through its website. The program, which is organized and supported by Creators HQ in collaboration with 500 Global, will select 20 individuals and businesses active in the content industry to participate. Submissions are open until 3rd October.
The 10-week program offers a diverse curriculum designed to support and accelerate businesses, blending 500 Global's expertise in venture building with the knowledge and resources of the creator economy. Participants will gain skills, tools, and support needed to scale their businesses sustainably, along with mentorship and networking opportunities to help build the next generation of leading businesses in the industry.
The accelerator aims to enhance the business performance of content creators, equipping them with new skills to launch globally scalable ventures and build impactful partnerships with investors. It also seeks to drive the development of innovative solutions in the content and creative tech industries.
Applications are welcome from leading content creators and startups worldwide, provided applicants are registered and at least 18 years of age. Each applicant can only submit once, and all submissions will be rigorously evaluated to ensure alignment with the program's requirements and objectives.
The program will culminate in the Creators Ventures Pitch, where participants showcase their startups as part of the 1 Billion Followers Summit. Industry leaders will judge the pitch based on criteria such as feasibility, innovation, potential impact, quality, scalability, and financial potential. The pitch has three stages, with the final stage offering three participants a chance to compete for a promising investment opportunity.
Creators HQ has allocated up to AED50 million for the accelerator, with the ultimate winner receiving financial backing to grow their project. Courtney Powell, COO and Managing Partner of 500 Global, emphasized the unique position of creators to disrupt industries. Alia AlHammadi, Vice Chairperson of the UAE Government Media Office and CEO of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, highlighted the program's role in empowering creators to transform their ideas into impactful projects.
Creators Ventures aims to provide funding and support to content creators and startups with groundbreaking ideas, facilitating pitches to prominent investors. The program seeks to attract global talent and motivate existing content ventures to relocate to the UAE, reinforcing its position as a hub for meaningful content.
