Osaka: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has attended the UAE Day celebrations at Expo 2025 Osaka. The celebrations commenced with a parade featuring traditional Emirati music and heritage troupes, captivating audiences with cultural performances that highlighted the UAE's customs and traditions.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Khaled observed various UAE Day cultural activities, organized in collaboration with 17 national entities, including the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation, and the UAE Space Agency. These activities included traditional handicraft workshops, live performances, and sessions discussing the UAE's model in sustainable development and technological innovation.
Supported by official partners such as DCT Abu Dhabi, ADNOC, Space42, and PureHealth, the UAE Pavilion reflects the nation's priorities and future-facing sectors. The UAE Day programme also included diplomacy-focused events to enhance cooperation between the UAE and Japan, covering areas like education, culture, and sustainability.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled met with young Emirati talents who played a crucial role in the UAE's participation at Expo 2025 Osaka, commending their contributions. He emphasized the importance of empowering youth to represent Emirati identity and cultural values abroad, fostering intercultural dialogue.
