Ras al khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, welcomed Stephen Anderson, Director of the World Food Programme (WFP) Office in the UAE and the Programme's Representative to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, at Nad Al Habayeb Majlis in Ras Al Khaimah, along with his delegation. According to Emirates News Agency, during the meeting, Stephen Anderson expressed gratitude on behalf of Cindy McCain, WFP Executive Director, to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud for his substantial donation towards the WFP's operations in the Gaza Strip. H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud was acknowledged as one of the top five individual donors globally for his personal humanitarian contributions, which have significantly supported the WFP's mission in Gaza. His donations have been instrumental in enabling the Programme to deliver essential food assistance to many families facing severe humanitarian challenges in the region.
