Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain Launches Emirate’s New Promotional Identity

Umm al qaiwain: Guided by the vision of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain and Chairman of the Executive Council, has launched the emirate's new promotional identity. The initiative is part of an ambitious strategic vision to establish Umm Al Qaiwain as a premier tourist destination.

According to Emirates News Agency, the new identity, designed under the direct guidance of the Crown Prince, aims to showcase the emirate's unique attributes and strengthen its global presence. This strategic move is intended to invigorate the tourism sector and unlock new opportunities for economic growth and prosperity.

Commenting on the launch, H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla stated that the tourism sector is a pivotal pillar of the UAE's national economy, actively contributing to economic and social growth, thereby solidifying the country's position as a globally competitive economic destination. He emphasized that the promotional identity draws inspiration from the emirate's history and culture, linking past heritage with present and future ambitions.

The ruler noted that Umm Al Qaiwain's promotional identity represents an integrated strategic project aimed at presenting a comprehensive image of the emirate by highlighting its natural, historical, and cultural components. H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla added that the new identity is a milestone in the emirate's journey toward a more prosperous future, serving as an embodiment of Umm Al Qaiwain's identity and heritage.

Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities in Umm Al Qaiwain, explained that the new promotional identity aims to enhance the visitor experience by offering exceptional moments to visitors. He noted that the new logo will consolidate the emirate's standing as a destination for relaxation, leisure, and tourism, establishing its presence on the global tourism map.

The design of the promotional identity embodies symbolic elements reflecting the emirate's nature and cultural distinctiveness, such as waves, desert sands, and palm trees. The pearl-inspired form symbolizes authenticity and maritime heritage, while Arabic calligraphy adds an artistic dimension reflecting Emirati culture. These elements together create a renewed image of Umm Al Qaiwain.

The launch ceremony included a presentation showcasing the identity's elements, reflecting the emirate's natural environment, culture, and innovative approach. The event also highlighted efforts to unify the emirate's communication messages and digital content, promoting it in line with international best practices. The ceremony was attended by sheikhs and heads of local and federal departments.
