DEWA Showcases AI Integration at Dubai AI Week 2025

Dubai: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is participating as a Strategic Partner in 'Dubai AI Week', an event held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai. Organised by the Dubai Future Foundation and the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, the forum will take place from 21st to 25th April 2025.

According to Emirates News Agency, DEWA is showcasing its key AI initiatives and projects, highlighting the progress in integrating these technologies into the generation, transmission, and distribution of energy and water networks, thereby enhancing efficiency and productivity. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, stated that their efforts align with the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, aiming to transform the UAE into a global leader by investing in human competencies and vital sectors.

DEWA is focusing on employing the latest disruptive technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to strengthen the UAE and Dubai's leading global position in AI technology investment. By integrating AI technologies into its operations and services, DEWA seeks to promote sustainable growth in the energy and water sectors and ensure the supply of services meets high standards of quality, efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

During its participation in Dubai AI Week, DEWA is showcasing key AI projects, which include AI in Distribution Power, Material Insights Agent, Billing Services AI Specialist, BRD Generator, Customer Happiness AI, Khadamatech Portal for Staff, AI-powered HR Agent, Legislation Agent, and LinkedIn Learning AI Agent for Employee Development. DEWA aims to become the world's first AI-native utility through its strategic road map launched earlier this year.
