Abu Dhabi: The Department of Health - Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in Abu Dhabi, and CPX, a provider of end-to-end cybersecurity solutions, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during Abu Dhabi Global Health Week. The agreement aims to advance cybersecurity and digital resilience within Abu Dhabi's healthcare sector.
According to Emirates News Agency, the MoU was signed in the presence of Khalaf Helal Al Mazrouei, Director General of Corporate Enablement and Community Services at DoH. The signatories were Engineer Eissa Nasser Alhammadi, Information and Cyber Security Office Director at DoH, and Hadi Anwar, CEO of CPX. The collaboration was formalized during the annual Abu Dhabi Global Health Week.
The agreement establishes a collaborative framework targeting enhanced cyber resilience and improved readiness through sector-wide cyber drills. It also aims to facilitate the exchange of cybersecurity knowledge and expertise. This partnership will lead to dedicated events and initiatives aimed at upskilling healthcare professionals in cybersecurity preparedness, promoting a proactive and coordinated approach across the healthcare landscape.
