Dubai Crown Prince Endurance Festival Set to Kick Off with Ladies’ Race

Dubai: The 18th edition of the Dubai Crown Prince Endurance Festival is set to commence at the Dubai International Endurance City in Saih Al Salam, featuring the opening ladies' race on March 23. This prestigious event, organized by the Dubai Equestrian Club in collaboration with the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, is a highlight of the endurance season calendar, showcasing four races across various categories.

According to Emirates News Agency, the festival's main highlight, the 120km open race for the Dubai Crown Prince Endurance Cup, will be held on Friday, March 27, marking the festival's conclusion under the patronage of Emaar. The event also includes a 120km ladies' race on the opening day, followed by a 120km private stables race on Tuesday, and culminating with the 120km Al Yamamah mares race on Wednesday.

The organizing committee has announced a prize pool exceeding AED5 million, with allocations for winners up to the 17th place in the ladies' and Al Yamamah races, and up to the 30th place in the private stables and main cup races. Last year's competition saw rider Majid Jamal Al Muhairi triumph for F3 Stables aboard Evita Larzac, finishing the race in 4:10:51 hours at an average speed of 28.7 km/h.
