Dubai Government Announces Eid Al Adha Holiday Schedule for 2025

Dubai: The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has officially announced the Eid Al Adha holiday schedule for the year 1446 Hijri. The announcement, conveyed through a circular, details the public holiday period for government entities, departments, and institutions across Dubai.

According to Emirates News Agency, all government bodies in Dubai will observe a holiday starting from Arafat Day, which falls on Thursday, 5th June 2025 (9th Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH), and continue through Sunday, 8th June 2025 (12th Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH). Normal working hours will resume on Monday, 9th June 2025.

The circular further clarifies that entities with employees working on shift-based schedules or those involved in public services or essential facilities management are exempt from the holiday period. These organizations have the flexibility to arrange work schedules for exempt employees to ensure continuous public service delivery.

In recognition of this significant occasion, DGHR extends its warmest congratulations and best wishes to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, their brothers, the members of the Supreme Council, the Rulers of the Emirates, as well as to the people of the UAE and all its residents.
