Dubai Health Insurance System Achieves Record Growth in 2025


Dubai: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced significant growth in its health insurance system for the year 2025, showcasing the system’s continued expansion and its robust capacity to meet the increasing demand for healthcare services.

According to Emirates News Agency, the latest data from the DHA revealed that the number of beneficiaries under the Dubai health insurance system surpassed 4.9 million in 2025, marking an increase from approximately 4.6 million in 2024. This growth represents a rise of around 6.5 percent. Additionally, the number of insurance claims escalated to about 49.6 million, compared to 43.69 million claims in 2024, reflecting an increase of approximately 13.5 percent. These figures underscore the expanding utilisation of healthcare services offered under the system and confirm its capability to keep pace with Dubai’s population and economic growth.

The data further indicated that Dubai’s health insurance network comprises 3,936 healthcare providers, 140 insurance brokers, 43 ins
urance companies, and 16 insurance claims management entities. Asma Al Sharif, Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Health Insurance Corporation at the DHA, stated that the operational performance recorded in 2025 reinforces confidence in the system’s infrastructure. It demonstrates its ability to respond proactively to increasing healthcare needs, supporting a higher quality of life for the community.
