New Delhi: Dubai Land Department (DLD) has kicked off its global roadshow, 'Dubai Real Estate Connect', in New Delhi, India, as part of a strategic initiative to bolster Dubai's standing as a premier destination for real estate investment. This event, organized in collaboration with Q4 Consultants and IIFL Group, was attended by Dr Abdul Nasser Al Shaali, UAE Ambassador to India, alongside prominent investors, entrepreneurs, and key figures from India's real estate sector.
According to Emirates News Agency, the 'Dubai Real Estate Connect' initiative is part of Real Estate I, Dubai's Real Estate Promotion Strategy. This strategy is spearheaded by the Dubai Land Department and involves outreach across multiple global cities throughout the year to expand international cooperation and solidify investment ties with major global markets, including India, a crucial strategic partner in the real estate sector.
The Dubai Land Department delegation at the event included Majida Ali Rashid, CEO of the Real Estate Development Sector; Majid Al Marri, CEO of the Real Estate Registration Sector; Khalifa Al Zeriem Al Suwaidi, CEO of Emirates Real Estate Solutions (ERES); and Mohammed Yahya, Director of the Real Estate Transactions Department. They presented the investment landscape in Dubai, emphasizing the emirate's competitive advantages and promising opportunities that make it a prime investment destination.
During the visit, the delegation showcased several strategic pillars, such as modern urban planning trends, streamlined regulatory procedures, and integrated digital services designed to facilitate business operations and safeguard investor rights. They also underscored the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and India, highlighting joint initiatives that promote investment flows and support economic integration.
This initiative is under the umbrella of the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033, which aims to rank the emirate among the top three global real estate investment cities. This strategy is built on transparency, efficiency, and technology-driven innovation, fostering significant advancements and boosting international confidence in Dubai's real estate market.
Dubai Land Department also spotlighted its pioneering digital transformation initiatives, including the Tokenisation Project, which makes Dubai the first in the region to use blockchain technology for property registration. Other initiatives, like the AI-powered Smart Rental Index and the 'She Pioneers' initiative, aim to enhance transaction efficiency and reduce time and effort through smart digital platforms like the Dubai REST app.
Majida Ali Rashid remarked that the 'Dubai Real Estate Connect' event in New Delhi opens new avenues for cooperation and investment between Dubai and India. She highlighted Dubai's transparent legislation, advanced digital services, and strategic initiatives driving its vision as a global real estate innovation capital. The 'She Pioneers' initiative, in particular, received notable appreciation from India, leading to DLD's involvement in honoring women leaders in India's real estate sector.
Majid Al Marri highlighted that the initiative extends beyond promotion, serving as a crucial economic bridge between two dynamic global markets. He reiterated Dubai's readiness to attract international investors, leverage India's advanced innovation and entrepreneurship, and build strategic partnerships for sustainable growth and deeper economic integration.
