Dubai: Major General Hareb Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Affairs at Dubai Police, hosted Matar Saeed Al Hemeiri, CEO of Digital Dubai, to explore avenues for bolstering cooperation in digital transformation, artificial intelligence applications, and digital community security. Officers and officials from both sides attended the meeting.
According to Emirates News Agency, the visiting delegation toured the Operations Room of Dubai Police's Cybercrime Department. They examined the mechanisms used for monitoring, analyzing, and following up on cybercrime reports and cases. Additionally, they were briefed on the advanced smart technologies and systems employed to combat cybercrime and fortify digital security readiness.
Discussions between the two sides focused on collaboration opportunities to reduce cybercrime indicators, exchange technical expertise, and enhance the efficiency of digital systems. These efforts align with Dubai Government's vision to create a secure and sustainable digital environment while safeguarding community services from cyber threats.
