Dubai: Dubai Police's Mobile Cannon, known as Al Rahal, is making its rounds across the emirate during Ramadan, with scheduled stops at various locations to engage the community. The cannon recently visited Hatta Hall on the 4th and 5th of Ramadan and is set to head to Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) on the 5th and 6th of Ramadan.
According to Emirates News Agency, the mobile cannon will cover a total of 17 locations throughout the holy month. These include notable spots such as Zabeel Park, Umm Suqeim Majlis, Bab Al Shams Hotel, Al Meydan Hotel, Global Village, Atlantis Hotel, Nad Al Sheba Majlis, Margham, Burj Khalifa, Lehbab, Al Khawaneej Majlis, Marsa Boulevard, Al Warqa, Vida Creek Harbour, and Al Barsha Park.
Dubai Police have stated that this initiative is part of their efforts to revive Ramadan traditions and enhance community engagement. To further this goal, six cannons will be strategically stationed at key locations throughout the city during Ramadan. These locations include JBR, Burj Khalifa, Damac Hills, Expo City Dubai (Al Wasl Plaza), Dubai Festival City, and Vida Creek Harbour Hotel.
