Abu dhabi: The 31st edition of the Dubai International Pharmaceuticals and Technologies Conference and Exhibition, known as DUPHAT 2026, will commence tomorrow at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event, spanning three days, will gather prominent medical figures, experts, and pharmaceutical specialists from across the globe to present the latest advancements and innovations that are shaping the future of the pharmaceutical sector.
According to Emirates News Agency, this year's event is backed by the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE), signifying its dedication to fostering the growth of the pharmaceutical industry. EDE aims to strengthen public-private sector partnerships and advance the UAE's pharmaceutical ecosystem by enhancing regulatory frameworks, promoting innovation, encouraging local pharmaceutical manufacturing, and reinforcing supply chain resilience.
DUPHAT is recognized as a leading global specialized pharmaceutical event in the Middle East and Africa. It serves as an international platform that brings together pharmaceutical companies, specialists, experts, and decision-makers to showcase cutting-edge innovations and technologies, discuss the industry's future, and explore opportunities for cooperation and strategic partnerships.
This year's edition will feature over 1,100 brands and is anticipated to draw more than 25,000 visitors from 85 countries. The programme will include 104 scientific sessions and 12 workshops, along with 400 scientific posters presented by university students.
Running alongside DUPHAT 2026 is VITASHOW DUBAI, which will highlight the latest innovations in nutritional supplements. This exhibition will provide industry leaders with a platform to present new products and developments in the sector, featuring extensive international participation.
Over the past three decades, DUPHAT has established itself as a global platform encompassing all stages of the pharmaceutical value chain, from manufacturing and research and development to innovative healthcare solutions and pharmaceutical distribution.
