Dutch Voters Head to Polls in Snap Parliamentary Election

Abu dhabi: The Netherlands goes to the polls in a parliamentary election on Wednesday, less than two years after the last vote, with 27 parties in the race and all 150 seats of the lower house up for grabs.

According to Emirates News Agency, the snap vote was triggered after the previous right-wing, four-party coalition collapsed in June after just 11 months in office.

Opinion polls indicate a tight race among five parties, as voters prepare to decide the future political landscape of the country. The election comes at a time when political stability is crucial, following the sudden dissolution of the previous coalition government. Voter turnout and party alliances will be key factors in determining the outcome of this closely watched election.
