Earthquake Hits Northern Mariana Islands

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck off the Northern Mariana Islands in the western Pacific Ocean on Wednesday. The earthquake occurred 463.8 kilometers from the capital, Saipan, and at a depth of 10 kilometers, the US Geological Survey reported.
