Wellington, An earthquake measuring 4.8 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Tuesday the Kermadec Islands off the coast of New Zealand. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km. There have been no reports of human losses or material damage as a result of the earthquake so far.
