Doha: EDGE Group and Qatar's Barzan Holdings have entered into a joint venture aimed at the collaborative development of advanced defence technologies, marking a significant step in industrial cooperation between the UAE and Qatar. According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was formalised during a signing ceremony at DIMDEX 2026, an event that began on Tuesday in Doha. This joint venture is designed to co-develop technologies that align with evolving national security requirements while also bolstering sustainable industrial capabilities in both countries.
