EDGE and Magnaghi Aerospace Group Collaborate to Enhance UAV Capabilities

Abu dhabi: The UAE's EDGE Group and Italy-based Magnaghi Aerospace Group (MA Group) have agreed to explore cooperation aimed at expanding EDGE's advanced UAV and aerial solutions capabilities. The agreement was signed during the Dubai Airshow by Rodrigo Torres, Group CFO of EDGE, and Paolo Graziano, Executive Chairman of Magnaghi Aerospace Group. This collaboration will allow EDGE to explore opportunities within MA Group's business divisions to develop areas such as landing gear systems and core components for autonomous aerial solutions.

According to Emirates News Agency, EDGE's Managing Director and CEO, Hamad Al Marar, expressed confidence in the partnership's potential to expand EDGE's unmanned programmes. He emphasized the importance of working with MA Group to explore growth opportunities in the unmanned domain, leveraging the expertise of experienced industry players to maintain a competitive edge.

Paolo Graziano, Executive Chairman of MA Group, highlighted the cooperation as a significant step in strengthening their role in the unmanned domain alongside EDGE. He pointed out the value of MA Group's expertise in landing system solutions and aerostructure, developed through their Sky Arrow aircraft, in contributing to this collaboration.
