Caretaker Minister of Education on Friday welcomed Pakistani Ambassador to Lebanon, Salman Athar, for a meeting focused on Lebanon's general conditions and the state of education. Ambassador Athar congratulated Minister Halabi on the successful completion of the academic year and the effective management of official examinations despite the challenging circumstances in Lebanon. The discussion also covered potential measures to be implemented in the event of a military escalation and the role of public schools during emergencies. During the meeting, Ambassador Athar presented Minister Halabi with an oil painting as a token of friendship. In turn, Minister Halabi expressed his gratitude for the ambassador's support and noted that the government's emergency plan includes provisions for the involvement of public schools in crisis situations.
