Egypt and Russia urge for ceasefire and unrestricted aid access in Gaza

CAIRO: The Arab Republic of Egypt and the Russian Federation emphasized the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and unrestricted access to humanitarian aid. During extensive talks between Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdel Ati, and Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, both sides reiterated the necessity of establishing a Palestinian state on all of the Palestinian national territory, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
