Egypt on Sunday warned of a prospected flare-up of a full-scale war in Lebanon and expressed concern such an eventuality might snowball into a regional war. A foreign ministry source, in a statement, affirmed Cairo's support for Lebanon, its people, and institutions and sparing it the perils of war. The official Egyptian stand was expressed against the backdrop of a rocket crash into the town of Majdal Shams in the occupied Golan Heights on Saturday.
