Cairo: Remittance inflows from Egyptians working abroad rose 42.8 percent year on year in the first ten months of 2025, reaching US$33.9 billion, up from US$23.7 billion in the same period last year, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said on Sunday, Ahram Online reported.
According to Emirates News Agency, monthly inflows also increased sharply, climbing 26.2 percent in October to US$3.7 billion, compared with US$2.9 billion in October 2024, according to the bank.
