Egyptian Foreign Minister stresses the need to support the Libyan people.

Tripoli: Egyptian Foreign Minister "Badr Abdel Aati" stressed the need to support the Libyan people in determining their own destiny, and rejecting any external dictates, interference or pressures on them. In a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow today, Monday, he called for accelerating the holding of parliamentary and presidential elections simultaneously to contribute to forming a new leadership for Libya that works to end the current crisis, and in a way that ensures the unity of the Libyan national territory, stressing that Libya is a neighboring and important country for Egypt.
