Tripoli: The High National Elections Commission announced, that applications for candidacy for municipal council elections in the municipalities targeted for the election of their municipal councils will begin to be accepted starting next Sunday, August 18, 2024. This came in an announcement published by the Commission on its official page today, Thursday. Earlier today, the Commission announced that the process of distributing voter cards for municipal council elections in the municipalities targeted for the election of their municipal councils will also begin starting next Sunday.
