Abu dhabi: Emirates is set to increase the deployment of its retrofitted Boeing 777s and Airbus A380s on routes to Shanghai and Zurich, while also expanding schedules to Milan, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires. Additionally, the airline plans to upgrade services to Shanghai and Singapore with the introduction of the A380, enhancing passenger experience with its Premium Economy offering.
According to Emirates News Agency, this strategic expansion and enhancement of services align with rising demand across Emirates' global network. The airline aims to provide more customers access to its renowned onboard experience, particularly the Premium Economy cabin that has gained significant acclaim.
Emirates' retrofit programme, initiated in November 2022, is advancing with consistent progress. The airline's engineering teams have successfully retrofitted 60 aircraft, achieving a complete overhaul of one aircraft every three weeks. This ambitious initiative reflects Emirates' commitment to maintaining a modern and customer-centric fleet.
