ENOC Group and DP World Sign MoU to Enhance Emergency Response in Dubai

Dubai: ENOC Group and DP World have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at improving emergency and fire response capabilities throughout Dubai's key energy and logistics infrastructure. The collaboration will focus on joint training, planning, and coordination efforts.

According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was formalized at the ENOC headquarters in Dubai, with Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, and Abdulla bin Damithan, CEO and Managing Director of DP World GCC, signing the document. Al Falasi emphasized the importance of the MoU as a step towards maintaining the highest safety standards and ensuring emergency preparedness. He noted that this collaborative effort would enhance their collective ability to respond to unforeseen incidents, thereby protecting people, assets, and the community.

Bin Damithan highlighted that safety is a fundamental value at DP World and that the agreement represents a shared commitment to ensuring a safe environment for their operations. He mentioned that the partnership with ENOC would improve their emergency response capabilities and contribute to building resilient and safe infrastructure for regional trade.

The MoU includes provisions for an annual joint exercise led by the emergency teams of ENOC and DP World to improve training, preparedness, and response times. It also specifies regular updates to emergency response plans and establishes a shared protocol for engaging external parties to ensure quick and coordinated action.
