Abu dhabi: Etihad Airways carried 2.0 million passengers in October 2025, marking a 28 percent increase compared with the same month last year. Year-to-date, Etihad has now transported 18.1 million passengers, reflecting a 19 percent growth over the first ten months of 2024. The airline maintained an 88 percent passenger load factor in October and year-to-date, demonstrating effective capacity management alongside rapid expansion.
According to Emirates News Agency, Etihad's operating fleet reached 120 aircraft by the end of the month, with a network comprising over 100 destinations, of which 96 were operated in October. Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, commented that the 28 percent passenger growth in October accelerates the momentum built through the first nine months of the year. He emphasized the impact of strategic expansion, with the fleet reaching 120 aircraft and a network of more than 100 destinations. As the airline enters the final stretch of 2025, its operational performance and sustained high load factors provide confidence in achieving a landmark year.
