According to Emirates News Agency, the EU's International Digital Strategy not only emphasizes enhancing competitiveness in artificial intelligence and other critical technologies domestically but also prioritizes collaboration with international partners to aid their digital transition. The strategy reaffirms the EU's dedication to establishing a rules-based global digital order, aligning with its core values.
The strategy's objectives include expanding international partnerships by deepening existing digital partnerships and dialogues, creating new ones, and encouraging collaboration through the formation of a new Digital Partnership Network. Simultaneously, the EU plans to introduce an EU Tech Business Offer, which will merge private and public sector investments from the EU to facilitate the digital transition of partner countries. This initiative will focus on key components such as AI Factories, investments in secure and trusted connectivity, Digital Public Infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
