Charles Michel, President of the European Council, reaffirmed on Monday the EU's willingness to "deepen our cooperation" with Kuwait. Following a phone call with His Highness the Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah, Michel took to X, saying that "the EU-Kuwait partnership is growing stronger everyday". He affirmed that he is looking forward to the EU-GCC Summit "which will showcase the positive momentum of the EU-GCC ties" "We will work on every aspect of the EU-Kuwait bilateral relations putting it at the service of peace and prosperity for our citizens" Michel added. His Highness the Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah received a phone call earlier from Michel, during which they discussed means to develop EU-Kuwaiti bilateral relations.
