Abu dhabi: The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has introduced an AI-powered Human Resources Assistant, marking a significant initiative aligned with the UAE's vision to integrate artificial intelligence in advancing government operations.
According to Emirates News Agency, the newly launched system is set to revolutionize the federal HR ecosystem by enhancing service quality, delivering seamless and immediate employee experiences, and fostering a more efficient work environment through AI-driven solutions. The HR Assistant is designed to cater to over 50,000 federal government employees, providing 108 services, automating approximately 80% of employees' self-service HR procedures, and offering instant responses to 80% of HR legislation inquiries. This innovation is projected to save around 170,000 working hours annually in technical and legal HR support.
The system employs AI Agents technology, a sophisticated platform capable of executing tasks, processing procedures, and answering employee queries. It analyzes data from the federal HR information system, Bayanati, to provide accurate and personalized responses through interactive written or voice-based interfaces in both Arabic and English, without requiring human intervention.
Federal government employees can access the AI-powered HR Assistant at any time and from anywhere via the Authority's website, www.fahr.gov.ae, or its FAHR smart app. Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future and Chairwoman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, emphasized that the launch of the AI-powered HR Assistant is a testament to the UAE leadership's directives to utilize artificial intelligence in transforming federal HR management and reinforcing the country's global leadership in this domain.
She highlighted the government's ongoing commitment to innovating and developing advanced technological models that elevate services, providing future-ready, efficient, and personalized experiences for all employees.
