Fatima bint Mubarak Visit to Trkiye Highlights Emirati Women’s Role in Humanitarian Efforts

Abu Dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs and Chairman of Erth Zayed Philanthropies, has emphasised the significance of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak's visit to the Republic of Trkiye. Recognised by the President of Trkiye, Sheikha Fatima, known as the 'Mother of the Nation', is celebrated for her leadership roles in the General Women's Union, the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and the Family Development Foundation. Her visit underscores the esteemed status of Emirati women in humanitarian and social work.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Theyab highlighted the visit as an opportunity to foster cooperation with Trkiye in child welfare and family development. He noted that the visit reinforced the values of giving and humanitarian solidarity consistently championed by Sheikha Fatima. Her continuous efforts both locally and internationally inspire generations, offering a model for empowering families and women, enhancing their societal roles.

Sheikh Theyab further affirmed the UAE's commitment, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to support humanity globally. He emphasized that this mission is deeply rooted in the country's approach, an extension of the values instilled by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. These values make humanitarian work a bridge for connecting people and a tool for spreading peace and stability worldwide.
