Final results of Turkish election: Erdogan wins 52,18 of votes

The Turkish Supreme Electoral Commission announced Thursday, the final results of the second round of the presidential elections with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan winning 52.18 percent of the votes.

In a press conference, Head of the Commission Ahmed Yanar said that results were sent to newspapers for publishing.

On May 28, Turkiye witnessed a second round of election, the first of its kind in the country’s history, he explained.

Erdogan won 52.18 percent of the election with 27.834.589 votes, while Kilicdaroglu got 25.504.724 votes, about 47.82 percent.
