Flydubai Expands European Network with Four New Destinations


Dubai: Flydubai, the Dubai-based carrier, is set to expand its network with the launch of flights to four new destinations. This expansion includes flights to Chi?inau and Ia?i starting from September 2025, and Riga and Vilnius from December 2025. This development increases the carrier’s reach in Europe to 35 destinations across 20 countries.

According to Emirates News Agency, this announcement makes flydubai the first UAE carrier to offer direct flights between Dubai and Ia?i International Airport (IAS) in Romania. The carrier initially began operations in Romania in 2012 with flights to Bucharest. This expansion also marks flydubai’s first venture into the Baltic region with direct services to Riga International Airport (RIX) in Latvia and Vilnius International Airport (VNO) in Lithuania, increasing the number of underserved markets on its network to over 100 destinations.

Today, we have built a diverse network of more than 135 destinations, 75% of which are underserved routes from Dubai.
