Dubai: flydubai received the 'Airline with the Best Connectivity in the Middle East' award for the third time at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2026. Attending the award ceremony held in Dubai were Mohammed Hareb AlMheiri, Chief Procurement and Technology Officer at flydubai, and Mohamed Hassan, Senior Vice President of Airport Services and Cargo at flydubai.
According to Emirates News Agency, the award, voted for by the public and readers of the magazine, recognises the carrier's agility which has supported flydubai's ambitious growth strategy in enabling the free flows of trade and tourism and providing more convenient travel options to and from Dubai. Mohammed Hareb AlMheiri expressed satisfaction with the recognition, highlighting flydubai's commitment since 2009 to opening up underserved markets and enhancing connectivity across its network from Dubai.
Flydubai's customer-centric and agile approach has facilitated the expansion of its network to over 100 destinations that previously lacked direct air links to Dubai. As the airline continues to grow its operations, it remains focused on offering greater travel options to customers while supporting Dubai's position as a world-class aviation hub.
