FNC, Russia’s State Duma Explore Joint Cooperation.

ABU DHABI: Maryam Majid bin Thaniah, Second Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), received Alexander Babakov, Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma, in a meeting aimed at exploring joint cooperation. According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting was attended by Humaid Al Tayer and Sheikha Al Kaabi, both members of the FNC, as well as Timur Zabirov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the UAE. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the two countries and their respective councils. The participants emphasized the importance of strengthening parliamentary cooperation on issues of mutual interest. They highlighted the significance of collaboration during regional and international parliamentary forums as a means to address these shared concerns.
