Abu dhabi: Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), has congratulated Counsellor Hisham Badawi on his election as Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
According to Emirates News Agency, in a congratulatory cable sent to Counsellor Hisham Badawi, Ghobash expressed his pleasure in extending sincere greetings and wishes for health and wellbeing. He conveyed on behalf of himself and the FNC members their warmest congratulations on Badawi’s election, wishing him success in fulfilling his responsibilities and duties.
Ghobash also emphasized the opportunity to reaffirm the ongoing cooperation between the UAE and Egypt. He highlighted the strategic partnership that unites the two countries, aiming to further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the councils, which would serve the interests of the peoples of both nations.
