Foreign Media Department denies what was published by The Independent newspaper about the economic situation in Libya.

The Foreign Media Department in the Government of National Unity confirmed that the report published by the Independent Newspaper regarding the economic situation in Libya is marred by many professional fallacies. The Department said that the report ignored all international reports that were issued by economic institutions such as the International Monetary Fund, which affirmed Libya's good economic situation and its capability to achieve high economic development during 2024 at approximately 8%, according to the HAKOMITNA platform.
