YUNNAN: Firefighters have contained the forest fire that broke out in southwest China's Yunnan Province on Saturday afternoon, with no casualties reported, according to local authorities. As per a report from China Central Television, a forest fire broke out on Saturday around 15:00 in Eryuan County, located in the Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan. This incident prompted an immediate emergency response from the local fire department, mobilizing over 500 personnel to combat the fire. At 12:30 AM on Sunday, the fire was extinguished and clean-up efforts have begun. The local authorities stated that the cause of the forest fire is still being investigated.
